    01

    Community Ambassador

You're the face of Link & Chill in Bangalore, Mumbai or Pune. You bring new people to events, run sub-community channels (WhatsApp / Discord), and act as a host on the ground so first-timers never feel lost.

    Best for
Outgoing folks who already feel like a connector in their friend group. Existing community organisers welcome.
    Time commitment
5–8 hrs / week. Mostly evenings and weekends.
What you get paid & perks
Paid honorarium per event hosted, plus free entry to every event in your city.
    02

    Events Intern

Get hands-on planning and running real social events end-to-end — venue scouting, negotiating with cafés and breweries, building run-sheets, managing the guest list, and being on the floor making sure things flow.

    Best for
Students or early-career folks in hospitality, event management, marketing, or anyone who wants to learn ops by doing it.
    Time commitment
10–15 hrs / week for a 2–3 month internship. Hybrid (most work remote, on-site for events).
What you get paid & perks
Stipend, certificate, free event access, and a strong reference letter for what you actually shipped.
    03

    Content & Creative

Capture event reels, edit social cuts, write blog posts, design event invites, and shape how Link & Chill shows up online. We post 3–4 times a week — you'll be central to that cadence.

    Best for
Photographers, videographers, editors, copywriters, or designers. Portfolio matters more than years of experience.
    Time commitment
Project-based. Some roles are per-event shoots; others are weekly content sprints.
What you get paid & perks
Per-project rates, paid event coverage, full credit on every post, and freedom to build a public portfolio of Link & Chill content.
    04

    Operations Volunteer

Behind-the-scenes ops — payment verification, refund processing, attendee communication, vendor follow-ups, and admin dashboard upkeep. The work that makes events feel effortless to attendees.

    Best for
Detail-oriented people who like systems. Great fit for someone exploring a startup-ops or community-ops career.
    Time commitment
6–10 hrs / week. Mostly async, some evening coordination.
What you get paid & perks
Honorarium per month, free event access, and direct exposure to how a small community business runs.

Why work with Link & Chill

    We're building something that matters.

Loneliness is the public health problem nobody's solving in Indian cities. People in their 20s and 30s move to Bangalore, Mumbai or Pune for work, lose their friend group, and slowly shrink their world to the same three colleagues and their phone. We're the antidote — small, curated meetups where strangers actually become friends.

We're early stage. The people who join the team in the next year will shape the company's culture, run-book, and brand voice. You won't be a number — you'll be a founding-team member of something with real momentum.

We work in public. We run real events every weekend, the feedback loop is immediate, and every team member can point to specific moments they made happen. If you've spent years shipping work nobody sees, this is the opposite of that.

    Quick answers

    Are these roles paid?

Yes — every role on this page has a financial component. Ambassadors and operations volunteers get a monthly honorarium; interns get a stipend; content roles are project-based at market rates. The only unpaid commitment is genuine excitement about the mission.

Do I need to be in Bangalore, Mumbai or Pune?

Community ambassador and events intern roles require you to be on-the-ground in one of our cities. Content and operations roles can be remote — but you'll need to attend at least one event a month so you understand what we're actually building.

    I'm a student / mid-career / changing industries. Is that OK?

Yes — we've hired across the spectrum. What we care about: have you organised something real (a college fest, a group trip, a Discord server, a side project), and can you describe what you learned from it. Resume gaps and non-linear paths don't worry us.

What does the process look like?

Apply via the form → we reply within a week → 30-minute video call with the founder → if it's a fit, you start with a small trial project (a weekend event for ambassadors, a content deliverable for creatives, a single ops task for volunteers) → if the trial goes well, you're in. We move fast and try not to waste anyone's time.

My role isn't listed but I want to help.

Apply anyway. The form has a free-text field for “what role you're interested in” — write whatever you'd actually want to do. Some of our best hires came in pitching roles we hadn't thought of.

Is this the same as the affiliate / ambassador program?

Related but separate. The affiliate program is for anyone who wants to earn commissions on referrals — no application needed beyond the form. Working with us is a deeper team relationship: roles, hours, ongoing scope. Many ambassadors eventually become team members.

    Ready to show up?

Whether you have 5 hours a week or 50 — there's a place for you here. Let's build this together.
